DO YOU NEED AN ATTITUDE BOOST AT WORK?
People have over 30,000 thoughts per day to
keep positive. When things go wrong, the weather is cold, there's no
sunshine, it's raining, there's deadlines and the traffic is slow,
it's fairly natural for people to feel a little negative. However,
the key is to to keep performing by having an uplifting work
environment. After the last week of highs and lows throughout the
world, this could be as simple as asking everyone to write on a
list: WHY THEY ENJOY WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY? People might write:
provides good coffee, safe transportation to work, get paid every
week, or great workmates ...or it's located in the land of the All
Blacks! When you have the list, display it.
Alternatively, if you're feeling a little low at
work, list the reasons why you enjoy working for your company.
Mondayitis increases in winter. If you're
wanting some motivation to change people's attitude during these
winter months through in-house seminars email

NZ's SECOND SELF-ESTEEM
DAY on 6th July, was a SUCCESS!
It reached thousands of New Zealanders via the Viva radio show and
my interview with Raylene Ramsey and it was mentioned on TVNZ on
Close-up by Susan Wood. Most of the schools around Auckland were
contacted and the local newspapers around New Zealand. Next year I
want to do bigger and better! Any help or sponsorship is welcome.
The web page is still current if you wish to visit it, along with
the fr'ee e-book download.
